Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and qualified Spanish Teacher for a fantastic secondary school in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students, enhance their language skills, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment. The position is Temp to Perm for the right candidate, offering long-term career growth within a supportive school community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring student engagement and progress
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to students of varying abilities
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum, fostering a love for languages
  • Collaborate with the school's faculty to enhance the language department and participate in school events

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level
  • Have a current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
