Job Description:

Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, which may include pools, beach, entertainment zone/game-room, fitness center, and child activities center. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.

Job Responsibility:

Provide cashier services
Assist with hosting private functions

Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment and supplies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training
Ensure uniform and personal appearance is professional
Maintain confidentiality
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak using clear professional language
Answer telephones with proper etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Support team goals
Process payments for rental equipment and activities
Comply with quality standards

Requirements:

CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Recreation Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Ability to perform spa treatments and reception tasks
Knowledge of all spa services and products
Knowledge of fitness programs and pool
Maintain cleanliness of all spa areas
Contribute to reception team, spa and fitness assistant
Lateral services within the department and with other departments
Linen control

Promotions
Learn and grow as a spa therapist
Communicate appropriate information to spa therapists
Adhere to hotel standards
Budget understanding
Attend departmental meetings and line-ups
Maintain Ritz-Carlton standards
Assist with inventory
Follow all company policies
Perform any task deemed necessary by management
Promote spa fitness and pool through marketing actions
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Read and visually verify information
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Enter and locate work-related information using computers
