The Spa Manager is the operational leader of Kas di Pueblo Spa, an iconic historic landmark on the resort grounds. This unique wellness destination blends the rich heritage of Curaçao with contemporary wellness philosophies, incorporating local traditions, natural island ingredients, and immersive storytelling into every guest experience.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing the daily operations of the spa
Ensuring a seamless guest experience and maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism
Supervising and coordinating all spa activities, including treatments, salon services, wellness programs, reservations, reception, and locker room areas
Driving guests and associate satisfaction while achieving or exceeding financial and operational goals
Developing the spa team
Managing budgets and inventory
Ensuring that all brand standards, health, and safety procedures are consistently met
Fostering a culture of well-being, teamwork, and excellence
Requirements:
Certification or diploma in Spa Management or Wellness Administration or related field
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a spa or wellness environment, preferably in a luxury or branded hotel setting
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver exceptional guest service and achieve business objectives
Strong understanding of spa operations, including treatment menu development, scheduling, inventory control, and retail sales management
Demonstrated experience in budget management, forecasting, and cost control
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a warm, professional, and guest-oriented approach
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
Strong knowledge of spa safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Experience with spa booking and point-of-sale systems (e.g., Book4Time, or similar) is an advantage
CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as business demands
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu are an advantage
