The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft Azure. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries. Cloud Sourcing, Security, and Sustainability Supply Chain (CS3) organization within CSCP, manages sourcing and supply of IT hardware for the data centers. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable on-time performance, optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. The role of Sourcing Engineer manages system integrators under CSSC for Tier 1 System Integration supply chain and is also focused on specific platforms and partnership.
