A Solution Engineer is a critical part of the Alida sales process. You will partner with Sales executives to support the deal cycle. The key job function is to participate in customer discovery calls to learn their business needs so you can deliver a compelling software demonstration that evangelizes the Alida platform. The best Solution Engineers are great storytellers and can deliver a compelling demo that uses the prospects' story in the demo.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Leadership and Professional Services to conduct discovery, identify and uncover customer's challenges, provide strategic objectives and customer experience opportunities
Map the prospect’s business and technology needs to Alida's solution, validate key use cases and build custom product demonstrations to address prospect needs
Provide solution expertise through product demonstrations and technical consultation
Identify and support opportunities for data integration to enhance platform value and user adoption
Serve as trusted solution advisor to senior customer stakeholders throughout the Alida engagement cycle
Work collaboratively with Product Management and Product Marketing during the development, launch, and refinement of Alida products
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Champions the value-based customer management best practices
Requirements:
A great listener and a great story teller
Strong presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
At least 2 years of previous experience in a sales or business development role
A working technical knowledge of SaaS applications
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work within a fast-paced sales environment
Know and appreciate the importance of presenting the benefits of a product…not just features

Experience with MEDDIC or similar sales methodologies
