Job Description:

As the SAP GTS Solution Architect you will be responsible for SAP GTS Solution design, implementation and maintenance within our Customs workstream. This is a team effort, and you are at your best, working closely with a team of Business Analysts, External Consultants, Developers (Techno-functional design), Security & Data privacy team, and Data specialists to ensure SAP GTS design, delivery and maintenance that sticks to standard without compromising the high degree of automation and specialization in our global value chain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for the solution architecture across the Customs processes implemented in SAP GTS
  • Work closely with Product/Owners and Lead solution architects in evaluating and aligning design changes
  • Ensure a seamless platform experience in the live environment
  • Handle enhancements within the SAP ecosystem and Software Development (DevSecOps) requirements
  • Manage standard and normal changes as part of releases
  • Support analysis of productive issues and implement resolutions
  • Support testing automation
  • Learn and support non-SAP applications critical to the Customs business process
  • Design & maintain operational reporting and embedded Analytics solutions
  • Adhere to operational governance and SLA's
  • Demonstrate cross functional alignments
  • Pro-actively communicate status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items
  • Manage risk & mitigation of challenges

Requirements:

  • Passionate in creating value through robust and effective SAP solution architecture
  • Strong team player with deep techno-functional expertise
  • Visionary, pragmatic, and adaptable
  • Curious and able to build relationships built on trust
  • At least 2-3 end to end SAP GTS implementation projects
  • Contributed hands-on as a solution architect, business analyst or functional consultant
  • Worked in similar supply chain or retail industries
  • Analytical with an eye for details
  • Highly motivated and effective in communicating

  • Lead end-to-end design for supply chain initiatives — from concept to go-live — ensuring seamless data flow across sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and finance

  • Oversee integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP systems (IBP, Palantir, BTP, Workato, Mendix)
