Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a French Speaking Enterprise Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team. The Professional Services team in Fivetran works across all segments and use cases, with a focus not only on onboarding and initial implementation, but building relationships with our customers to facilitate wider adoption of the tool, turning power-users into advocates. The Solution Architect role is extremely diverse. You will act as a liaison between customers, Product and Engineering; the Fivetran architect in charge of solution design alongside hands-on work in the form of installation, configuration and development. Solution Architects may work alone or in teams, and depending on the customer, may occasionally work on-site with customers in person. Solution Architects are also expected to manage the timelines and delivery of their customer work, work with one another, and work with other internal Fivetran stakeholders. Further to your work with customers, the Solution Architect function provides cross-functional support across the organisation. You will support Marketing through attendance at industry events, with opportunities to take on speaking engagements, and you will work closely with Fivetran’s Product team on Feature Requests and product development. You will be joining a multi-talented team of peers with locations across Europe. This Enterprise Solution Architecture position is a full-time, remote role based in France, and travel is expected approximately 10-15% of the time.
Job Responsibility:
Manage customer engagements, with a focus on ensuring customer success through implementation, adoption and expansion of Fivetran
Deliver solution design following industry and Fivetran best practices, whilst keeping in mind customer requirements
Work alongside the wider Account team to develop and execute the adoption of Fivetran’s products
Act as a primary liaison point between your customers, Product and Engineering
Provide value-added support to adjacent organisations, such as Marketing and Customer Support
Contribute to internal initiatives, such as the development of business processes to enhance the Fivetran stakeholder experience
Requirements:
Fluency in both French and English
Proven ability to take ownership and accountability for the success of their customers and customer projects
Being self-motivated, proactive and organised when working with customers and internal stakeholders alike
A dedicated team player who values quality and collaborates to help everyone succeed
Being comfortable in deep technical conversations as well as managing customer relationships
Nice to have:
Previous experience with any of the following: Fivetran
dbt, including any certificate accreditations
The major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure & GCP), including any solution architecture accreditations
Project Management accreditation
