Job Description:

As a Software QA Engineer at ASI, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our autonomous software through extensive testing and analysis. You will work closely with your team in a scrum environment and help identify and resolve defects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and design appropriate test plans and strategies
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and documentation
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software meets functional, performance, and reliability requirements
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing and work with project teams to resolve them
  • Conduct user-acceptance testing as software is ready for release
  • Participate in scrum meetings and provide quality updates
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance the overall quality of our software products
  • Execute tests in the lab, on the vehicle, and in field test environments

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Software QA Testing, or other related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques
  • Proficiency in test case management tools such as JIRA or TestRail
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in teamwork and individual accountability
  • Experience in Agile software development
  • Willing and eager to learn Linux operating system and proprietary software installation and diagnostics
