Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. This role involves developing and supporting complex software solutions that include databases, business logic, user interfaces, and system integrations. The successful candidate will collaborate with international teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for global customers, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop well-structured code in line with company standards
  • Document system changes and enhancements
  • Coordinate code development and delivery based on defined requirements
  • Provide accurate time and effort estimates for new features
  • Handle third-level support for developed applications
  • Contribute to impact assessments and low-level design specifications
  • Participate in multiple projects simultaneously within a distributed team model
  • Support the setup and development of project teams

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming
  • Proficient in Java, SQL and web technologies
  • Experienced in relational database design, optimisation, and PL/SQL query writing
  • Familiar with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, and SVN
  • Skilled in Linux administration, maintenance, and scripting
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and software lifecycle management
  • Capable of developing software for internet, mobile apps, and communications technologies
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Able to coordinate small software development teams effectively
  • Fluent in English (B2 or above)
