Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking enthusiastic candidates who have expertise and interest in a specific position’s requirements. This internship period typically lasts for 6 months.
Job Responsibility:
Support embedded & system software projects by designing, developing and testing software functions for aviation software solutions
Assist documenting and building software functional requirements and verifications
Work as a member of the international team where English is the common language
Requirements:
BS or MS or Ph.D. students, or recent graduates or those expected to graduate in 2026 or early 2027 with majoring in computer science or engineering or related studies
Knowledge of computer science/engineering fundamentals, such as operating system, data structure, software design, algorithms, etc.
Programming experience in computer languages, such as C/C++, Python, etc.
Proper English communication skills (read and write)
Creativity, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and expand their skillsets
Experience in software development in Linux-based environment such as Ubuntu, RHEL or equivalent
Nice to have:
Ability to work full-time for months during the calendar year, ideally 6 months
Experience in Agile for software engineering
Experience in development environments such as Git, CI/DevOps tools
Good to have knowledge and experience in avionics software components
Hands-on experiences with developments boards, such as Raspberry-pi, Aduino, or equivalent
Basic understanding of Linux kernel, such as processes, schedulers, memory allocators, etc.
Basic understanding of POSIX APIs and hands-on experience in multi-process programming
