Software Engineer Intern

• Help shape the next generation of our distributed backend
• Design and implement new platform capabilities such as bias avoidance mechanisms, advanced segment management, and experiment orchestration features that ensure trustworthy results at scale
• Work on strengthening the system’s resilience, performance, and scalability, tackling challenges that come with high throughput and global reach
• Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product partners to translate experimentation needs into robust, production-ready systems

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field. Due to graduate in December 2026 or later
• Hands on knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Hands on knowledge of object-oriented design principles and distributed software architectures
• Familiarity with statistical concepts and their application within software systems
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with Istio and Kubernetes for managing microservices and container orchestration

Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and experience with experimentation platforms

• Paid 12-week internship
