Job Description:

We are looking for Software Developers to join a project in the financial services sector. As a developer on this Porto-based team, you will help design and implement a robust data management platform. Your role will involve full-stack development and close collaboration with analysts and other IT team members.

Job Responsibility:

Developing and maintaining both backend and frontend components
Working with databases and data layers
Collaborating closely with Business Analysts and Data Analysts
Participating in Agile team ceremonies
Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
Ensuring quality through unit testing

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software development
Proficient in front-end development using Angular or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
Strong skills in back-end programming with Java
Hands-on experience with relational databases
Experience with version control and CI/CD pipeline
Work experience in Agile teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Nice to have:

Knowledge of data management and big data technologies
Experience with data virtualization tools or big-data file formats and frameworks
Advanced degrees or relevant certifications
