Job Description:

Students pursuing their university degree. Assists in various tasks aligned with their field of study, including research, collaboration on team initiatives and projects, problem-solving, and creative thinking to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills. You'll work alongside talented colleagues, guided by feedback and support, and have opportunities to learn through coaching and stretch assignments. Note: This is an internship for students currently studying and located in Costa Rica for at least the next 6 months.

Job Responsibility:

Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, utilities, databases, web-based tools and Internet-related tools
Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code
identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues
Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development
Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.

Requirements:

University student or degree student in last year of IT engineering such as Computer Science, systems engineering, etc.
Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages, preferably Python, React and/or MQL
Basic Linux knowledge, preferably on Ubuntu
Web DevOps in React especially
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish language (English level Advanced).

Knowledge and experience in networks
Knowledge and experience in ASIC
Knowledge and experience in PM
Knowledge and experience in Agile.
