Job Description:

This position is ideal for someone who has Product Management and Project Management experience and aspires to be Program Director in future. The candidate will manage, evaluate, and develop product road map, solution requirements, business processes and translate them into functional software requirements using various diagrams, wireframe tools and technical specification documents. The candidate will also be managing the development processes using Microsoft Azure DevOps tools. Candidate will also manage teams of resources located in Canada, US and India.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and managing Software Product Roadmap and Feature Releases
  • Conducting ROI analysis for feature development
  • Estimating Development and Maintenance Costs for software applications and Managing Costs using global teams of resources
  • Proactively conducting discovery workshops with clients to gather information from stakeholders
  • Understanding and documenting the business processes and current client problems and requirements
  • Defining business and technical requirements based on business problems
  • Coordinating with development team to design technical solutions to business problems
  • Converting Business requirements into Functional requirements
  • Participating and guiding in Wireframe Development and UI/UX workshops
  • Creating User Acceptance Test documents and getting them signed off by client
  • Handling requirements, change and defect tracking
  • Helping with simple database related tasks for QA
  • Executing and conducting UAT on desktop or mobile devices

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of experience managing software product applications using Agile Methodologies
  • Master’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field
  • Course work in Software Engineering and/or Project Management is highly desirable
  • Certified Scrum Master are preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience managing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Ability to manage successful software releases for mid-to-large scale applications
  • Finance and Insurance business domain experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Master’s of Computer Science or Engineering from well-known institutes
