We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Social Media Specialist for a 3-month contract. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy, encompassing organic content creation, paid advertising campaigns, and community engagement. This role offers the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals, including defining target audiences, setting objectives, and establishing KPIs
Create engaging and high-quality organic content across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X), including writing compelling copy, sourcing or creating visually appealing graphics and videos, and adapting content for different platforms
Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns across relevant platforms to achieve specific marketing objectives (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, website traffic, conversions), including budget management, audience targeting, ad creative development, and performance monitoring
Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and relevant conversations, engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive brand community
Track and analyze social media campaign performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategies and improve results
Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain innovative and effective
Work closely with other marketing team members and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts
Requirements:
Proven experience (2+ years) as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with demonstrable experience managing the full social media lifecycle
Strong content creation skills with the ability to write engaging copy and create or source visually appealing content
Hands-on experience planning, executing, and managing paid social media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads)
Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for social media marketing
Must be able to work onsite in either Miami, FL, or Atlanta, GA, 2 days per week
Nice to have:
Experience with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
Familiarity with graphic design principles and basic design tools (e.g., Canva)
Experience with video editing
Understanding of SEO principles as they relate to social media content
