Skilled Shift Engineer

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and preventative repairs on a diverse fleet
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
• Complete scheduled servicing and respond to unscheduled repair work
• Overhaul and replace components such as engines, gearboxes and braking systems
• Accurately complete all job sheets, defect reports and maintenance records
• Follow all company health and safety procedures
• Work as part of a shift team and maintain a clean, organised workshop

• Experienced mechanic or engineer (automotive, heavy vehicle or rail preferred)
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Full UK driving licence (PCV/HGV desirable)
• Flexible to work shifts, including nights and weekends
