Complete shipment conformation in PKMS and communicate of exceptions related to shipments.
Complete driver's paperwork, print complete and accurate bill of ladings for outbound loads.
Review shipping orders and determine quantity and type of transportation required.
Contact carrier representative to arrangement and to issue instructions for loading products.
Annotate shipping orders to inform shipping department of loading location and time of arrival of transportation.
Build and palletize skids, pack and holds and cross dock inventory for shipping.
Load trailers at scheduled appointment times.
Complete rush, mail, foreign and internal orders.
Correct and ship nightly 40 status orders
with emphasis on rush orders.
Manage safety and security of all trailers on the lot in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Adhere to Custom Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) processes.
Receive Less Than Truck Load (LTL) Shipments.
Email communication required for any shipment that is not 100% complete and accurate.
Maintain shipping & receiving logs, records and documents.
Perform various clerical tasks such as typing and mailing bills, typing correspondence, and maintaining files.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
or one to three months related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business manuals and instructions
read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external customers.
Basic level of skill with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and Warehouse Management systems.
Able to operate walk behind, sit down lift and other Material Handling Equipment.
Ability to stand

use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit
stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
