Shipper/receiver

• Accurately execute the picking of forklift attachments and parts, then ensure safe and compliant packaging for shipment
• Prepare all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping slips/notes, and customs forms, ensuring the accuracy of the information
• Organize pickups with carriers, determine optimal shipping methods, and coordinate the logistics of outgoing shipments
• Verify the contents of orders against purchase orders to ensure there are no errors, damages, or discrepancies before final shipment
• Maintain an inventory of packaging and shipping supplies
• Operate a manual pallet jack or other equipment

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar role in industrial management
• Solid experience in order preparation and packaging with a high attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Critical thinking skills to quickly identify and rectify shipping or inventory issues
