Job Description:

Are you an experienced shipper/receiver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you have narrow aisle stand-up forklift experience and enjoy working in a role that keeps you active and engaged? Our client in Greater Victoria is seeking a reliable and skilled shipper/receiver to join their team as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity in the food distribution sector with the potential to transition to a permanent role after 3 months.

Job Responsibility:

  • Shipping and receiving materials
  • Managing inventory
  • Operating a stand-up forklift
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Wrapping and labeling materials
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of recent shipping and receiving experience
  • Narrow aisle stand-up forklift experience is a must
  • Comfortable working in cold and wet environment
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy
