Our client's key subsidiary, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced SHEQ Advisor. This role is vital in supporting their mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.”

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a culture of safe working practices across the Group
  • Provide coaching and development to influence and enhance client's safety culture through the "Work Safe | Home Safe" initiative
  • Investigate, resolve, and report on incidents, hazards, near-misses, and SHE non-conformances arising from audits or safety events
  • Conduct regular construction site visits and safety audits
  • Stay informed of new legislation and developments impacting SHEQ practices

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • Background in managing risks within the utilities sector
  • Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements and related legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to create high-quality reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences
