Westhaven is seeking an experienced leader who can implement our Strategic Plan at an operational level to enable our children and young people (CYP) to live life the way they choose.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the effective management of Disability compliance requirements
Grow Westhaven’s impact by increasing the volume of services delivered to participants
Enact continual improvement processes to drive operational efficiency and financial sustainability
Build a culture of leadership accountability and effectiveness
Act as an effective role model, promoting a culture that reflects Westhaven’s Core Values through all interactions
Requirements:
Extensive Knowledge: Deep understanding of quality service implementation, ensuring compliance with NDIS, OCG, and relevant National legislative requirements
Disability Industry Experience: Comprehensive working knowledge of the NDIS and OCG frameworks
Leadership Skills: Hands-on experience in performance management, mentoring, and team development
Financial Acumen: Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial resources in line with NDIS funding
Advanced Problem Solving: High emotional intelligence and the confidence to resolve complex situations
Specialised Understanding: In-depth knowledge of NSW Legislation relating to Out Of Home Care (OOHC) and the 10 essential elements of Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC), including trauma-informed practice
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Disability, or a related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience)
