Job Description:

Field-based role involving installation, commissioning, service, and repair of packaging machinery. Typically 2-3 days a week on-site with remainder working from home or office. Joining UK team with technical support and European OEM training. Opportunity to progress to Service Manager role within two years.

Job Responsibility:

Installation, commissioning, service, and repair of high-quality packaging machinery across customer sites
Managing own schedule
Minimal travel with average one overnight stay per week
Very occasional weekend work (once or twice a year)

Requirements:

Field Service Engineer or Factory Maintenance Engineer experience in capital equipment or packaging machinery
Recognised electrical and/or electronic engineering qualification
Ideally backed by a full apprenticeship
Hands-on fault-finding skills
Proactive, customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time
Professional representation of premium European brand

Nice to have:

Experience with packaging, printing, or process machinery
