Job Description:

A Senior Web3 Infrastructure Engineer at Citi will design, maintain, and handle lifecycle management of scalable web3 infrastructure, focusing on both public and private blockchain networks. Responsibilities also include ensuring high uptime, capacity scalability, and security, while delivering innovative infrastructure capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable web3 infrastructure
own and manage web3 infrastructure lifecycle
handle capacity management and ensure infrastructure meets requirements
manage web3 infrastructure adhering to reliability, performance, and security standards
develop abstractions for upstream applications to interface with infrastructure
provide L3 production and internal team support
resolve and escalate issues to deliver projects on time

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering
8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering
on-prem or cloud infrastructure experience
3 to 5 years of expertise running, managing and operating blockchain nodes and private blockchain networks
3 to 5 years of expertise on containerization (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Dockers, Podman, Helm Charts)
3 to 5 years of expertise with DevSecOps and Infrastructure Security
3 to 5 years of expertise coding and scripting (Bash, Python, Go, YAML)
experience managing infrastructure in datacenters
experience with configuration management and CI/CD pipeline
expertise managing proxies and routing components
expertise with monitoring and observability tools
familiarity with Istio, OpenShift service mesh and web3 libraries
familiarity with TEE, Confidential Computing and Enclave Tech
familiarity with Agile methodology

Nice to have:

Experience with Bitcoin network
familiarity with Istio
familiarity with OpenShift service mesh
familiarity with TEE, Confidential Computing and Enclave Tech
familiarity with Agile methodology
