Job Description:

Fullscript is currently looking for an experienced senior web developer who wants to build websites that deliver rich, stable, and compelling experiences for our users. This role focuses on developing and maintaining our education platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integrations with internal and third-party services. Our team works with NextJS and PayloadCMS, to create dynamic and engaging user experiences. We value clean, maintainable code, best practices, and a strong developer experience. Collaboration is key, and you’ll work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to bring ideas to life efficiently. At Fullscript, continuous learning and growth are part of our culture. We provide in-house training on various topics, from modern front-end frameworks to backend optimization strategies. You'll be encouraged to mentor, learn, and refine your craft alongside a passionate team. On this team, you'll work on our education platform, developing features requested by stakeholders and creating tools that empower them to manage the site independently.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with marketing, product teams, and other stakeholders to bring concepts to life quickly and effectively
Take ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying, and maintaining our web properties
Implement new features and functionality using NextJS and React where needed
Scope, plan projects, and work with other developers to implement them
Write clear documentation and present technical updates to the team
Contribute to our internal developer experience (tooling, workflows, etc.)
Occasionally participate in peer programming, mentoring, and code reviews
Other duties determined by the company from time to time

Requirements:

Experienced web development with a strong background in front end technologies
Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next or similar)
Familiar with implementing server-side logic in Next.js (API routes, middleware, data fetching, routing) backed by database queries or external services
Familiar with building custom themes/plugins in WordPress, Shopify, or similar, integrating third-party Apps and APIs
Knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and general development best practices
Able to clearly explain technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience presenting your work in a team setting
Interested in peer programming, mentoring less-experienced developers, and building a positive, collaborative environment

Nice to have:

Experience scaling or working on e-commerce, blogs, or marketing website
Past experience working in marketing, e-commerce or the health-tech sector
