Job Description:

BDA is looking for a Senior Technical Officer - Mechanical who will join the Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct continuing airworthiness management activities
  • Work as a senior member with the team, guiding and mentoring junior engineers
  • Provide technical Leadership in delivering minor and major capability upgrades to the various platforms from the concept stage to aircraft in service

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aviation industry
  • Technical experience in an aircraft maintenance operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership in a major project environment
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate aircraft technical related issues
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements

Nice to have:

Understanding and experience with complex Super Hornet & Growler systems will be highly regarded
