We are seeking a Systems Engineer or Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in the latter stage of a project lifecycle to deliver high-quality services on rail projects throughout the east coast of Australia. Ideally this will be someone who has considerable V&V experience, that has used either DOORS Classic or NG. You will provide authoritative guidance on best practices in V&V across all stages of the system lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Lead development and delivery of systems engineering deliverables as per client requirement e.g. V&V plans, config management plans and strategies
Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures
Manage traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
Execute validation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards
Prepare V&V reports and evidence packages
Assist in tender production, work-winning / client engagement
Mentor junior staff (senior role)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar (RPEQ Eligibility desirable)
4 – 10+ years Systems Engineering experience
Knowledge of relevant standards: EN 50126/8/9, IEC 61508, ISO 15288
Understanding of full Systems Engineering V-Lifecycle / INCOSE handbook standards
Familiar with DOORS / DOORS NG or other requirements engineering tools
An understanding of Safety Assurance, Human Factors and RAM is desirable
Australian working rights – Australian Citizen, PR or Visa holder
