We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise-level systems and technologies while ensuring seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced certifications, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with teams.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and maintain enterprise systems, including Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 environments
Resolve service tickets efficiently and proactively address system issues to ensure business continuity
Provide expert-level insights and recommendations to IT leadership at both enterprise and business unit levels
Collaborate with team members to address workloads and assist with additional duties when needed
Implement and oversee security measures, leveraging Azure and Microsoft technologies
Conduct periodic system upgrades and ensure compliance with best practices for hybrid server environments
Take initiative to solve complex issues independently, utilizing available resources effectively
Maintain high standards in communication and teamwork to foster a productive and engaged work environment
Stay updated on industry trends and certifications to provide cutting-edge solutions
Travel occasionally for planning meetings or other required engagements
Requirements:
Active certifications: AZ-900, AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), and 102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator)
Preferred certifications: AZ-800, AZ-801, AZ-500, and SC-300
Strong expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 technologies
Proven ability to manage system workloads and deliver on project commitments
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a self-directed approach to challenges
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate insights clearly
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Willingness to undergo a fast screening process and travel occasionally if required
