Our client, a leading General Contractor in Canada, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to spearhead the on-site execution of challenging, high-profile commercial, institutional, and governmental construction projects. This position requires an expert in managing complex building scopes, intricate logistical sequencing, and stringent quality control. The successful candidate will hold full ownership of the project schedule, budget forecasting at the phase-code level, and direct all field personnel and subcontractors. You will be the primary on-site representative, tasked with fostering trusted, professional relationships with high-level clients, consultants, and governing bodies, while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance and ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.
Job Responsibility:
Directly manage all aspects of field operations, safety protocols, and quality assurance
Develop, maintain, and own the critical path master schedule using advanced planning software
Lead all site personnel, conduct detailed daily coordination meetings, and provide continuous budget monitoring
Continuously monitor project budget and forecasting to the individual phase code level
Provide leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks

Requirements:
8+ years of field supervision experience with a large-scale general contractor
At least five years in a dedicated Superintendent leadership role on government or large institutional projects
Demonstrated mastery of advanced scheduling software
Relevant technical diploma, Journeyman trade certification, or advanced industry accreditation (e.g., Gold Seal) is considered a significant asset
