Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Systems Engineer, GTM, to help us evolve our Salesforce CRM to the next level to meet the needs of our rapidly scaling global business. You are a highly skilled Salesforce technology professional capable of working across all levels of the organization. You are adept at crafting, implementing, and evolving out-of-the-box and custom solutions that employ best practices for systems integration (API and iPaaS Solutions) across the SFDC ecosystem. You will work closely with our current Revenue Excellence team and our cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure we leverage Salesforce as the organization's source of truth. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the technical excellence of your team and owned services through design reviews, code reviews, and our approval process; contributing to architectural designs; and mentoring colleagues. This is a high-visibility role within the organization with an incredible opportunity to drive impact and value quickly.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect and Lead: Define and drive the architecture and technical strategy for Salesforce CPQ and related systems
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems
  • Spearhead key strategic initiatives, such as process automation and data integration efforts
  • Work closely with executive and senior leadership across the organization to identify and prioritize key projects
  • Mentor and develop a team of engineers
  • Address high-impact, complex technical challenges
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks
  • Contribute to the broader tech community by sharing best practices
  • Own the Salesforce ecosystem fully
  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-stakes projects and critical system issues

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture
  • 5+ years specializing in Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation and optimization
  • Deep expertise in CPQ functionality, including product configuration, pricing methodologies, quote generation, and contract management
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs with specific experience in CPQ customizations and integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, scalable CPQ solutions
  • Experience with CPQ advanced features such as guided selling, discount schedules, price books, and renewal processes
  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly billing, revenue recognition, and order management
  • Ability to evaluate and compare alternative solutions based on cloud costs and performance implications
  • Experience in setting and executing strategic technical visions
  • Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges
  • Salesforce Developer I certification is required
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience establishing and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to collaborate in a highly geographically dispersed team environment
