As a Senior Staff Backend Engineer, you’ll lead complex technical initiatives, shape architectural decisions, and drive platform-level improvements. You’ll play a critical role in building scalable backend systems and mentoring engineers across the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise B2B applications for financial advisors
  • Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems
  • Guide technical execution and mentor engineers across multiple teams and projects
  • Collaborate with product and operations partners to build secure and compliant platforms that improve workflows and service capabilities
  • Apply AI tools and technologies to power innovative features for advisors

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production environments
  • Deep expertise in backend programming (e.g., Go, Python, Java) and cloud-native architecture
  • 3+ years of experience leading large engineering teams or cross-functional technical initiatives
  • Strong system design skills and a solid foundation in software engineering best practices
  • Proven ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and deliver end-to-end projects at scale
