Job Description:

Checkr is building the data platform to power safe and fair decisions. As a Senior Staff Product Manager for the Platform, you will own the strategy for Checkr's people data platform, the foundational pillar for all data within the company. This platform powers every product Checkr offers—from establishing identity to criminal screenings and employment or professional license checks.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML data teams, and other cross-functional teams to define the platform's vision and strategy
Develop and prioritize the platform product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with company goals and customer needs
Conduct research and gather feedback to inform product decisions
Work closely with engineering to deliver high-quality platform features and improvements on turnaround time
Define and analyze key metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
Lead platform product launches and ensure successful adoption by internal teams and customers

Requirements:

10+ years as a Product Manager with recent experience working on a platform product
A strong understanding of platform engineering principles and technologies
Experience with vendor API integrations, anomaly detection, and search orchestration
An instinct for good platform design and a high degree of attention to detail
Experience managing project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized way
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
