As a Senior Staff Frontend Engineer at Cloudera Taikun, you will develop and maintain the user interface for our Kubernetes management platform, designed for DevOps teams. Our application allows users to create and manage Kubernetes clusters, control applications, monitor performance, and configure infrastructure with powerful tools such as real-time updates via WebSockets, a built-in code editor, integrated terminals, role-based access control, dynamic forms, and custom UI components with light/dark themes. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, responsive, and scalable UI features.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop new UI features using Angular
  • Maintain and improve the existing frontend codebase
  • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and DevOps teams
  • Implement and optimize real-time data handling, dynamic forms, and custom UI kit components
  • Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and maintainability
  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality
  • Support white-labeling features and theme customization for customers

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience with Angular, React, or Vue
  • Understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with RxJS and reactive programming
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Knowledge of unit testing practices and tools
  • Strong grasp of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • BSc/MSc in related field or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with Chart.js for data visualization
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Contributions to open-source projects
