Job Description:

As a Sr. Software Engineer in Test, you will play a crucial role in the success of our company by contributing to, as well as driving, high-quality releases and value-delivery to our customers. In this role, you will be automating tests for web-based, mobile applications and RESTful APIs to support our high-transaction and big-data SaaS applications. Your attention to detail, tenacity, creative problem-solving and forward thinking will directly impact the company's success, as well as the success of your peers across the organization. By following and evangelizing quality standards, as well as overall SDLC processes as they relate to quality, you will be able to affect meaningful change in the organization and help drive our culture to a quality and customer-first mentality.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, test, optimize, scale, maintain and improve highly scalable and secure distributed backend services while adhering to requirements, coding and quality standards
Develop functional and technical specifications and test plans. Review others’ code
Help in project planning by identifying cross-team dependencies and effort estimation
Actively participate and contribute to architect and design complex problems
Implement, refine, and enforce software development techniques to ensure that delivered features meet software integration, performance, security, and maintainability expectations
Research, test, benchmark, and evaluate new tools and technologies, and recommend ways to implement them in product development
Maintain high standards of software quality and technical excellence within the team by establishing good practices and writing clean, testable, maintainable, and secure code
Proactively identify issues(by analyzing monitor functions), bottlenecks, gaps, or other areas of concerns or opportunities and work to either directly affect change, or advocate for that change
Perform critical maintenance, deployment, and release support activities, including occasional off-hours support

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience with Back End & Front-End software development
5+ years of hands-on experience in building highly optimized Web Applications with focus on multitenant SaaS
5+ years of hand-on experience in .NET Core, SQL, C#, API
1+ years of hand-on experience in React, Typescript and tools (such as npm, node, gulp, etc.)
5+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a good understanding of cloud-native services
A solid understanding of computer science foundations including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Experience as a technical influencer for highly scalable distributed system designs
Experience with performance optimization approaches (caching, CDN, etc.)
Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable team player with strong collaboration skills and a focus on results and value delivery
Prior work experience in Scrum, or other Agile development methodologies, is preferred
Passion for engineering excellence through automation, unit testing, and process improvements
Ability to breakdown Epics into User Stories
Familiar with internet security issues in software design and code
Familiar with ERP (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite or Microsoft) platforms
Perform critical maintenance, deployment, and release support activities, including occasional off-hours support

Nice to have:

FinTech or Financial services domain background
Experience designing and scaling high performance systems
Experience with a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and good understanding of cloud- native services
Experience in Test driven Design and Mocking concept
