Job Description:

Enterprise Technology/Compliance IT Department brings together all areas of financial crime risk management at HSBC including anti-money laundering: transaction monitoring, screening, risk assessment etc. and is dedicated to implement the most effective global standards to combat financial crime. Within the Surveillance team, HSBC complies with regulatory guidelines applicable to the prevention and detection of any market manipulation attempts. Surveillance solutions are heavily dependent on internal data systems, market data, and news sources.

Job Responsibility:

Design and develop robust technical solutions
Speak to product owner and business on features and requirements
Automate testing and deployment of small and frequent releases
Production availability of your service – if you build the service you own the service

Requirements:

5+ Year experience in Software development
Core Java (v11+ and above including workable understanding of generics, concurrence, performance, streams)
Strong in OO and design patterns
Test Driven Development - recent proven development experience using Test Driven Development
Unit/Integration testing – Junit, Mockito etc.
Core Spring or other DI framework
familiarity with IoC concepts – familiarity with Spring Integration is desirable but not a must
Strong analytical skills
English at least C1 level
