Job Description:

Take a leading role in designing, building and scaling the technology that underpins Pomelo’s success. Be a technical leader and a mentor to others. Build AI-powered solutions that fundamentally transform care delivery and create exceptional experiences for both patients and clinicians.

Job Responsibility:

  • Write clean, elegant code to ship new features
  • Lead the design and development of robust, scalable systems
  • Push the boundaries of new AI-powered tools
  • Enhance the mobile experience
  • Mentor other engineers
  • Collaborate with product and clinical leadership to influence the technical roadmap

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality, scalable software systems
  • High level of proficiency in system and relational database design and one or more languages like Java, C#, Kotlin, Python, Go, etc.
  • Experience developing applications with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js
  • Passionate about staying on the cutting-edge of agentic tooling
  • Track record of delivering elegant and maintainable solutions to complex problems

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in AI/ML, natural language processing or building agent-based systems
  • Previously worked in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment
