We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Kapacity.io Team at EnergyHub! Our product helps energy retailers and households to optimize energy demand. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and contribute to high impact projects. Our team, made up of former Y Combinator founders and elite product and software talent, builds some of the most advanced flexibility solutions in the market. Job Responsibility:
Architect and build scalable software that powers Kapacity.io’s optimization products, taking ownership of technical quality and design choices
Drive the engineering culture by leading technical discussions and improving development processes
Partner with product and sales to translate complex, ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical roadmaps
Requirements:
5+ years of experience delivering complex, production-quality software systems
Deep expertise in Go(lang) or Python, Docker, and AWS
Strong command of Relational Databases (PostgreSQL) and time-series data
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and excel at structuring vague challenges into clear technical solutions
Interest in energy, buildings, and climate tech
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work weekly at our office in Helsinki
