Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Content Cards team, which is focused on transforming in-product surfaces into dynamic, personalized experiences that adapt to user behavior in real time. We build the systems that power in-app engagement across customers’ websites and applications—covering message definition, composition, targeting, delivery semantics, and analytics—along with a feature-rich dashboard that lets brands and UX teams seamlessly manage in-product messaging experiences inside their products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build new capabilities, improve reliability and performance, and help guide key architectural decisions as we scale
  • Help drive ambitious initiatives that expand what customers can build on high-value surfaces, unlock new ways to present and orchestrate content, and strengthen platform foundations that accelerate future innovation across in-product channels

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience
  • An experienced technical leader with a track record of driving complex projects from ambiguity to delivery
  • Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
  • A self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experienced working in a team environment

Nice to have:

  • Professional experience building software at immense scale, especially customer-facing platforms with high reliability requirements
  • Professional Experience with Ruby, Sidekiq, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React
  • Experience with agile development processes
What we offer:
  • Competitive compensation that may include equity
  • Retirement and Employee Stock Purchase Plans
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Comprehensive benefit plans covering medical, dental, vision, life, and disability
  • Family services that include fertility benefits and equal paid parental leave
  • Professional development supported by formal career pathing, learning platforms, and a yearly learning stipend
  • A curated in-office employee experience, designed to foster community, team connections, and innovation
  • Opportunities to give back to your community, including an annual company-wide Volunteer Week and donation matching
  • Employee Resource Groups that provide supportive communities within Braze
