Job Description:

As a Senior Software Development Manager at NTT DATA, you will lead delivery management across multiple accounts, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and driving operational efficiency. You will manage complex projects, engage with senior stakeholders, and lead high-performing teams to achieve strategic goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead delivery management across assigned accounts within the Group
  • Ensure all projects adhere to organizational delivery standards, governance structures, and compliance requirements
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of strategic programs and large-scale initiatives
  • Manage timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and cross-team dependencies across multiple projects
  • Monitor delivery performance and provide accurate reporting to Delivery Head/BU Head
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across business units and regions
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between delivery teams and business units
  • Identify delivery risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolutions
  • Drive process optimization and promote adoption of delivery best practices
  • Implement delivery tools, methodologies, and frameworks that enhance transparency and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field
  • 15–20 years of experience in software development, business analysis, or programming
  • At least 10 years of experience managing system or application delivery projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, complex delivery initiatives
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse and geographically distributed teams
  • Strong experience in program/project management
  • PMP or Agile certifications preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multi-country or multi-business unit projects
  • Solid knowledge of budgeting, resource planning, and governance frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective interpersonal, leadership, and people-management skills
  • Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills
  • Fluent in English or Japanese (business level)
