The Senior Sales Hunter will spearhead new business development in the Hi-Tech and Professional Services sectors across North America. This role requires a dynamic sales leader with a strong background in B2B sales, particularly in finance and accounting outsourcing. The candidate should have a proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar deals and engaging with C-suite executives. A bachelor’s degree is required, with an MBA preferred. Job Responsibility:
Drive end-to-end new-business acquisition within the BFSI segment, targeting software, cloud, and consulting firms adopting service-as-software models to transform their operating and revenue structures
Lead the full sales cycle: build and maintain a robust pipeline, engage at senior-executive level (CFO, VP Finance/Operations, Head Digital/Analytics, Procurement), develop and present a compelling value proposition, negotiate and close complex multi-millions service contracts
Sell advanced BPAS/BPS solutions and next-gen AI/Analytics/Automation offerings (robotic process automation, Generative AI, near-real-time reporting, CFO cockpit dashboards) into professional services/hi-tech clients
Develop solution-led value propositions leveraging deep domain knowledge of F&A (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, financial close, FP&A), professional services business models (billing, project-based revenue, subscription models) and hi-tech operating-model transformation
Design and execute account-opening strategies across North America: target list creation, outbound prospecting (cold-calling/LinkedIn outreach), coordinate internal marketing/lead-generation, craft proposals and RFP responses, manage competitive positioning
Partner with internal teams (delivery, solution architecture, marketing, operations) to shape winning proposals and ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery
Manage sales pipeline, maintain CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), produce monthly/quarterly forecast and sales reports
input to leadership on target alignment and business-process-services goals
Stay abreast of market trends in hi-tech/professional services, offshoring/BPS models, AI-in-finance disruption and competitive landscape, and use this insight to inform service-offering design
Travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) to meet prospects, attend industry events, engage with senior decision-makers, analysts and advisors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA preferred
15+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, including ~5-10 years focused on F&A outsourcing, BPS/digital finance/analytics, or AI-enabled services targeting large BFSI organisations
Proven track record of hunting new business (not just account farming) and closing multi-million-dollar BPO deals in BFSI in U.S./North America
Deep understanding of Finance & Accounting processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, financial close, FP&A) and how technology (RPA, AI/Generative AI, analytics) is disrupting them
~5 years of experience selling BPO services into BFSI or working in organisations offering outsourcing/ BPO /BPS/shared-services
~10 years of experience in consultative solution selling, articulate service/solution propositions, negotiating contracts
ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at C-level
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
rapid credibility with senior finance executives
Self-starter, resilient “hunter” mindset with strong drive to exceed targets
comfortable operating in a matrix-environment (global delivery, operations, marketing) and coordinating cross-functionally
Willing and able to travel as required across North America (and occasionally globally) for client engagements
Nice to have:
Familiarity with large-scale outsourcing/BPS deals (US $10 M+)
Experience working with next-gen AI/Generative AI platforms in finance
Experience in or selling to organisations with global delivery-centres (on-shore/off-shore mix)
Existing network of senior finance/technology executives in BFSI/professional services/CFO-office
