Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior React Engineer to join our team and help build high-impact, data-driven web and mobile experiences for an international product company focused on environmental intelligence and large-scale nature recovery. The product ecosystem combines science, geospatial data, and modern cloud technologies to deliver powerful dashboards, analytical tools, and mobile experiences that drive measurable environmental and economic outcomes. You’ll be joining an engineering team that is actively scaling the platform and building new functionality across web and mobile.

Job Responsibility:

Develop rich, high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and shadcn UI
Build and maintain reusable UI components and scalable front-end architecture for a growing product ecosystem
Lead the implementation and evolution of the design system in close collaboration with the product design team
Work closely with backend and full-stack engineers to integrate with APIs and platform services built on Supabase and other cloud tools
Contribute to and support a React Native mobile application as part of a cross-platform delivery team
Balance rapid product iteration with long-term engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability

Requirements:

5+ years of experience working with React and TypeScript in production
Strong background building applications with React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and modern UI libraries (preferably shadcn)
Solid knowledge of component-based architecture, state management patterns, responsive design, and performance optimization
Experience with data visualisation (D3.js, Recharts, Mapbox or similar)
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with design, backend, and product teams
Excellent communication, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently in a distributed team

Nice to have:

Experience with React Native and cross-platform component systems
Familiarity with Supabase or other backend-as-a-service platforms
Additional experience with data visualisation libraries (D3.js, Recharts, Mapbox)
