Job Responsibility:

Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks using JavaScript / Playwright or Python / Pytest Selenium frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Should be good at Test strategy for identifying and designing robust Regression tests
Execute automated and manual tests to identify software defects and ensure high product quality
Perform API and database testing and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy
Analyze test results from both manual and automated test runs, fix broken scripts, document defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for automation and testing methodologies
Create POCs using AI and latest technologies to enhance testing processes / tools
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase
Provide reports on defects , test executions, summary and traceability to your manager

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands on automation expertise
Strong proficiency in coding languages like JavaScript/ Python/Java and experience with automation frameworks/Tools like Playwright, Pytest, Selenium, TestNG, Postman
Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL for database testing
Experience with both UI and API testing and automation
Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps /Jenkins
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

Experience and understanding of performance testing and tools
Experience and understanding of Security testing and tools
Experience creating test harnesses, utilities and working with docker / AWS is a plus
Experience working with Grafana , Splunk, Kibana etc for logs and monitoring
