Job Description:

This role involves ensuring quality in backend processes related to mobile provisioning using a Java-based test framework. You will work in an agile team to maintain test plans, execute tests, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. The position includes flexibility, development opportunities, and a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibility:

Create and maintain test plans and test cases
Perform functional testing, including on Android mobile devices
Focus on high-level backend process testing (no UI testing)
Collaborate closely with a small development team (~2 developers) to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Support developers in quality-related activities
Analyze backend processes and their impact on the system
Execute tests and report results

Requirements:

Experience in manual testing
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Swagger, Xray, IntelliJ
Basic understanding of test automation (e.g., completed a course or used record & playback tools)
Understanding of how databases work (no hands-on experience required)
Knowledge of CI/CD and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with mobile devices (Android) is a plus

Nice to have:

German language skills
Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB)
Experience or knowledge of automated processes or subscription models
