We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance, scalable solutions supporting financial market analytics. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of complex data engineering and front-office trading systems. You will play a key role in shaping engineering practices, guiding architectural decisions, and leading junior engineers to deliver business-critical solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and deploy scalable, high-performance software for data processing and trading analytics
  • Lead architectural decisions, conduct rigorous code reviews, and mentor junior engineers
  • Partner with Traders, Quants, and Product Managers to translate market requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Drive CI/CD automation, TDD/BDD practices, and containerised deployments via Kubernetes
  • Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks in production systems to ensure low-latency data delivery

Requirements:

  • Expert-level Python 3.9+ (Design Patterns, OOP, logical data modelling, pandas, SQLAlchemy)
  • High-scale workload experience using Parquet or Arrow
  • Mastery of SQL Server or PostgreSQL (tuning, joins, transactions, and complex aggregations)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes (Helm, StatefulSets)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) and Python test automation
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
