Job Description:

The Senior Python & AI/ML Developer is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The role focuses on leveraging existing AI models and frameworks to create data-driven solutions, alongside responsibilities such as coding, reviewing, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Job Responsibility:

Hands-on Python or Scala developer with proficiency in Spark, SQL, data processing, OpenShift / AWS cloud, or other relevant cloud platforms, databases, SQL/No SQL, CICD pipelines and building Generative AI applications
leveraging existing AI models and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) to create innovative, data-driven solutions
conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs
in-depth experience in branching strategies and manage code repositories using Bitbucket and GitHub
champion code quality initiatives, including static code analysis, unit testing, and integration testing
monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
provide user and operational support on applications to business users
analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards
recommend and develop security measures
consult with users/clients and other technology groups
serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant experience
strong proficiency in Python / Scala, SQL and experience with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, PySpark)
familiarity with Generative AI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools
experience integrating APIs from pre-trained AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face)
solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
experience in managing and implementing successful projects
working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
deep expertise in system design and microservices architecture
strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
exposure to modern cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
must have working experience in Modern Ways of Working Lean, Fast Paced, Agile Model
