Job Description:

Our client is seeking a talented insurance professional to support the growth and development of their Property, Liability and Combined portfolio across South West and Wales. This is a key opportunity to join a small high-performing team with exposure to both national and independent brokers and a varied book ranging from £5k-£250k GWP.

Job Responsibility:

Underwrite renewal business across property, liability and combined classes
Develop and maintain relationships with key broker partners across the region
Deliver profitable growth in line with business objectives
Provide technical support to junior team members and contribute to best practice standards
Assess risk and negotiate terms on new and existing accounts
Conduct regular broker visits across South West and Wales
Collaborate with both the senior management team and the wider team to support regional strategy

Requirements:

Experience underwriting Property & Casualty risks
Previous exposure to both national and independent brokers
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Commercial acumen and market awareness
Ability to work autonomously and within a small collaborative team
Technically sound underwriting judgement
