We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Associate Director, to join our Program Performance team in Darwin, working alongside a group of highly skilled specialists. In this key role within our Advisory division, you’ll help strengthen and grow our capability in Darwin, while making a real impact across a range of projects. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of clients across Northern Territory and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You also have the opportunity to work across key sectors including Defence, Social Infrastructure, Transport, Energy and Water.
Job Responsibility:
Lead our clients and manage relationships with consultants, contractors and subcontractors
Deliver complex projects and programs ensuring they meet client expectations, timelines, and specifications
Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements
Oversee multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management
Lead multidisciplinary teams – coordinating specialists to deliver high-impact results
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to our ongoing growth and client success
Lead and motivate a team of Project Managers
Requirements:
Extensive experience in Consulting / Project Management, Contract Administration, and Project Director roles
Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
Proven history of successfully delivering Defence and Government projects
Experienced in all project phases, including initiation, design, and delivery
Ability to lead both projects and teams for high-value capital projects
A track record of tendering, putting together and assessing bids (both internally and externally)
Strong skills in contract administration, complex stakeholder management, business case development, MS Project scheduling, report writing, cash flow management, risk management, quality assurance, and scope management
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
For Defence projects you must be an Australian resident and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA)

Defence related project work is preferable but not required
