Job Description:

As a Senior Project Engineer - LabVIEW, you will utilize your expertise in LabVIEW to manage and execute technical projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, tackle technical challenges, and maintain strong relationships with clients. The role also includes providing ongoing technical support and continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with the Agile team to achieve project goals
  • Analyze requirements, provide detailed estimations, and prepare project plans
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues
  • Develop detailed designs and prototypes by exploring new concepts and approaches
  • Write clean, high-quality LabVIEW code following established standards
  • develop, debug, and design user interfaces
  • Participate in design, code, and usability reviews to ensure quality and consistency
  • Conduct client demos and deliver high-quality outputs with comprehensive documentation
  • Perform retrospectives and define actionable improvement plans
  • Report project status, progress, and key developments to senior team members
  • Participate in project meetings with management and cross-functional teams
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with clients to establish and maintain strong business relationships

Requirements:

  • Proven LabVIEW Programming Experience of 3 - 5 years with Engineering Graduation
  • Good understanding of LabVIEW State Machines, Design Patterns and LVOOPS
  • Understanding of Test and Measurements, NI PXI based Instrumentation
  • Experience with Configuration Management and source version control systems such as SVN, Perforce and Git
  • Experience in TestStand/Python/NI Certifications on LabVIEW is a plus
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW at the CLD/CLA level is preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with databases
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration
  • Exposure to Linux environments
  • Experience using Node.js for large-scale projects
