As a Senior Project Engineer - LabVIEW, you will utilize your expertise in LabVIEW to manage and execute technical projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, tackle technical challenges, and maintain strong relationships with clients. The role also includes providing ongoing technical support and continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the Agile team to achieve project goals
Analyze requirements, provide detailed estimations, and prepare project plans
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues
Develop detailed designs and prototypes by exploring new concepts and approaches
Write clean, high-quality LabVIEW code following established standards
develop, debug, and design user interfaces
Participate in design, code, and usability reviews to ensure quality and consistency
Conduct client demos and deliver high-quality outputs with comprehensive documentation
Perform retrospectives and define actionable improvement plans
Report project status, progress, and key developments to senior team members
Participate in project meetings with management and cross-functional teams
Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders
Work closely with clients to establish and maintain strong business relationships
Requirements:
Proven LabVIEW Programming Experience of 3 - 5 years with Engineering Graduation
Good understanding of LabVIEW State Machines, Design Patterns and LVOOPS
Understanding of Test and Measurements, NI PXI based Instrumentation
Experience with Configuration Management and source version control systems such as SVN, Perforce and Git
Experience in TestStand/Python/NI Certifications on LabVIEW is a plus
Proficiency in LabVIEW at the CLD/CLA level is preferred
Nice to have:
Experience working with databases
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Exposure to Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
Hands-on experience with hardware integration
Exposure to Linux environments
Experience using Node.js for large-scale projects
