Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager (Level L) to join the Boeing Rapid Space Capabilities Program Management team in Albuquerque, NM! This program manager will fill the role of Deputy PM and manage a multidisciplinary team supporting the development of high-performance electro-optical/infrared (EOIR) sensing and imaging system. The selected candidate will be responsible for overall program execution (technical, cost, and schedule) and new business capture with a broad range of government customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overall technical, cost, and schedule responsibility for the design, development, fabrication, assembly, integration, demonstration, and test of electro-optical and directed energy systems
  • Develops and executes integrated plans and guides the development of IPT business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Implements Boeing command media and best practices throughout IPT organization, including safety, risk/issue/opportunity, technical performance, and change control management, among other disciplines
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and management

Requirements:

  • 10+ years performing in a leadership role
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions
  • 5+ years of experience working with Earn Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience managing/supporting suppliers (i.e. analyzing cost and schedule, managing baselines)
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in preparing and presenting executive level briefings
  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
