The Microsoft Edge browser team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own autofill, passwords, and passkeys experiences across all platforms. As the inbox browser for over 1.5 billion Windows devices, Edge is Microsoft's most-used consumer product, and your work will directly impact how millions of people access the web every day. Form-filling and authentication are fundamental to browsing. Users shop, bank, communicate, and work online—often filling dozens of forms and logging into multiple accounts daily. Our team is responsible for making these moments seamless, secure, and delightfully fast across Desktop and Mobile platforms, while protecting user data with world-class encryption. This role offers a unique combination of challenges: balancing user convenience with rigorous security requirements, designing for both power users and those less tech-savvy, and building features that work consistently across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. You'll work at the intersection of identity, security, and user experience: an area undergoing rapid evolution with passkeys and emerging authentication standards.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify pain points in authentication and form-filling workflows, translating insights into product requirements
Partner with design to define end-to-end experiences that balance security, convenience, and accessibility
Write detailed specifications and work with engineering teams to ship features across platforms
Collaborate with Edge feature teams, Marketing, Bing, and other Microsoft groups to create integrated experiences
Design and execute experiments using Edge's data platform to validate hypotheses and optimize for engagement and adoption metrics
Use telemetry, customer feedback, and market trends to define success metrics, identify gaps, and drive iteration
Stay current on authentication standards (passkeys, WebAuthn, FIDO2) and emerging technologies that could enhance user experiences
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years in product/service/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience
5+ years of product management experience shipping consumer-facing software products
Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives and collaborate with engineering teams on complex features
Strong communication skills with experience working across global, distributed teams
Nice to have:
Experience building cross-platform applications or services used at scale (millions+ users)
Track record of independently owning complex product areas from strategy through execution
Strong project management skills and experience working in agile environments with customer-centric focus
Ability to synthesize insights from qualitative research, quantitative data, and market analysis
Excellent storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Passion for experience design with attention to detail and edge cases
Background or interest in security, identity, or authentication technologies
