Senior Product Manager-Data Services Platform

• Define and evangelize the long-term vision and product strategy for the next gen Cloudera Data Services Platform
• Translate high-level visions into product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and epics in Jira for Platform feature development
• Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap
• Conduct continuous market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify new opportunities
• Serve as the primary conduit for customer feedback through direct engagements with field, customers and partners
• Direct the development of features for elasticity, cost optimization, and automated resource management across the hybrid cloud
• Drive successful product launches by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Documentation teams
• Define and track KPIs for the Data Service Platform’s success, including adoption and revenue.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in product management, with significant hands-on experience in distributed data platform or cloud-native data services
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience managing containerized products delivered via Kubernetes
• Proven ability to write precise technical specifications (PRDs), build use cases/user stories, analyze customer patterns, and simplify complex technical solutions and manage product backlogs effectively
• Experience managing products deployed across both Public Cloud and on-premises Private Cloud.

MBA degree and prior experience in a senior product manager (IC) role.
